Sun kissed for only P500 – Boracay de Cavite

Boracay de Cavite or Katungkulan Beach is a small cove located inside Gregorio Lim Marine Base in Calumpang Ternate, Cavite.

The beach has grayish sand (although it would look white/off white in photos) that is so soft and powdery hence the name.

The water is cold, although there are some seaweeds/sea plants floating, but aside from that, it is clean. We were told that Corregidor Island and Mariveles mountain are visible from the beach. It is also pet friendly!

Located 50 km away from SM Bacoor which is approx 1.5 hours drive and thanks to Waze for the directions! HAHA.

(this is from Google Map because I forgot to take a screenshot from Waze)

We got here via Private car and if you are going solo or duo you can go to Coastal Mall and take a bus bound for Ternate (P85) and once you get off at Ternate the only option you will have is to rent a jeep to take you to the beach which may be expensive so I recommend going as a group.

Entrance is P100 for day trip and P200 for overnight. Cottages are first come, first serve basis. There are stores and carinderia inside available. Pitching of tent is allowed.
Expenses break down:
Full tank & Toll fee – P1800 / 8 pax
Entrance – P100 / head
Food & Beverage (Hotdog, Liempo, Tilapia, Bangus, Lechon Manok, Rice) – P150 / pax

Cottage – P200 / 8 pax

Total: P500 / pax

Not bad for a group of young adults who wants to relax and escape the city for the weekend.

Enjoying summer doesn’t need to be expensive. It’s not where you are, it is who you are with that matters.
